I recently decided to embark on a quest to see if I could preserve a little piece of Nintendo memorabilia: a set of three Super Mario Bros 2 View-Master reels from 1989! I wanted to not only preserve their contents, but also find a way to display the images in 3D the way they were intended to be seen! The Imgur post goes into my process. The part I’m most proud of is the stereoscopic VR video! If you have a VR headset, it’s absolutely worth a watch! I even added sound clips from the corresponding episode of the Mario Bros Super Show cartoon to make it more immersive.     I’ve said this elsewhere, but I find this so incredibly cool! It is sometimes the really obscure / niche things like this, being preserved, that means soooo much. What an awesome project and I’d love to see more things like this. Thanks for everything!
